Desa Osborn

Desa is thirty-one year veteran of the Lumber World with experience ranging from all administrative duties to transportation and inventory control.

She is a member of the Birmingham Traffic and Transportation Club and has served on the Board of Governors for two years. Married to Steve and the proud parent of two fabulous children, Desa is also a former employee of Birmingham International Forest Products.

Sam Flemming

Sam is Joe's brother, and is CEO and co-founder of CIC, the first and leading Internet Word of Mouth (IWOM) Research and Consulting firm in China. For more information, check out: www.cicdata.com.

Sam has lived in Shanghai for fifteen years, and has been a "trusting" set of eyes on various projects when the need has arisen. Sam's wife Vennie is native Chinese, and has also been helpful in developing relationships with suppliers across several different product categories when called upon.

Joe Flemming, Sr.

Joe, Sr. is a graduate of the Samford University Business School and has forty plus years of experience in financial management. He joined MadWood in 2006.

He was twenty-four years with Saunders System Inc., a 275 million dollar transportation services company that merged with Ryder System, Inc. in 1986. His last position was Executive Vice President - Administration. He was Vice President - Finance and Administration for Mason Corporation, a manufacturer and distributor of commercial and residential building products, until retirement in 2001.

He has held national and state chapter positions with Financial Executives International and the Profit Sharing Council of America, is a past director of the Oxmoor Rotary Club, and currently serves on the Finance Committee for Prince of Peace Church.
